Our Program in 2025 will be hosted in Richmond, Virginia – where we have top tier medical programs, a thriving Armenian diaspora, and opportunities to learn!
Participant Requirements
- Current enrollment or recent graduation from a medical or health-related field.
- Must be residing in Armenia
- Demonstrated commitment to community service and health improvement."
- Willingness to travel and engage in all program activities.
- Adherence to U.S. B1 visa regulations for international participants.

Eligibility extends to healthcare professionals and medical students with a demonstrated interest in community health improvement, particularly within the Armenian diaspora.
- Educational Background: Must have a medical or health-related educational background, with preference given to those who have completed an MD degree within the last 2 years. Students currently pursuing their studies may also be considered.
- Residency/Citizenship: Must be a resident of the Republic of Armenia.
- Community Health Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to community health improvement.
- Travel Capability: Ability to travel within the U.S. for the duration of the program, including participating in activities in multiple cities.
- Visa Compliance: Must comply with B1 visa regulations for non-U.S. participants, with a clear intention to return to Armenia post-program.
The program covers all travel, accommodation, and daily living expenses (food, excursions, etc). The participant is required to have Travel Insurance and purchase on their own. Note that there is no salary or stipend due to B1/B2 visa regulations.
Applicants must submit an online form detailing their educational background, medical specialty, and a motivation letter. Selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.

Yes, international participants will need a B1/B2 visa. The program staff will provide necessary documentation and
guidance for the visa application process, but approval from U.S Embassy is required.
The program runs from July 2nd to the end of July, with activities and observations in Richmond, Virginia including visiting VCU Medical, UVA Medicine, Activation Capital, and other growing medical technology companies.
